Planning – lithography production 17—19 April
Idea:
- after the first try at Tomis workshop I was thinking of doing the same format but with one story - for example: Food (Vegetable, fruits, …).
- Ordered List ItemWith free or more plates we will print one imagine, but the plates are all following one subject.
- Unordered List ItemThe imagines as photos, newspaper articles, drawings, will be all printed with 35% transparent over each other.

1. Kitchen Lithografie 2.0
First result:
Process:
The process of kitchen Lithografie need a lot of time for experimenting and trying. The loss of the print is in the case of this big pieces about 40%.
Autumn semester 2017
1. Kitchen Lithografie
Material:
- Aluminium Foil + plexiglas
- Lithografie Chalk, LithoInk
- masking tape
- Cola / Vinegar
- Bowls
- salat oil
- sponges
- water/bucket
- Offset printing Color
- roll
- Spoon or printing press
Process:
- taping the aluminium foil on Plexiglas – the matt side has to be up, has to be pretty flat
- drawing on the matt side
- into Cola/Vinegar for 10-15 min – drawing has to be covered completely, drawing side
- wash off the Cola/Vinegar with water
- washing of the chalk/Ink – unter the sink/ in the bucket with a little bit salat oil
- washing of the oil – no oil is aloud to stay on the foil
- watering (new sponge, without oil!)
- roll damp plat with color
- printing

3. Microembosing
With the help of Dominique I found the technique of Micro Embossing after getting stuck in the techniques from the 70/80ies.
I like to figure out how this technique would work in an conventual way without this huge machines and help from outside.
Right now, I'm trying to get in contact with some producers in switzerland to geht help and an better idea of the technique.
